TB HIV Care invites graduates to apply for Data Capturer Learnerships in Mthatha, OR Tambo District, Eastern Cape, South Africa. TB HIV Care is a well-established, respected non-governmental organisation delivering health care services throughout South Africa, especially in HIV and TB prevention and care. Purpose of the Internship
The successful candidate will support the Data Quality Officer and M&E Coordinator by capturing, consolidating, and updating health facility and partner data across reporting cycles (weekly, monthly, and quarterly).
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
- Aged between 18 and 24 years
- Interest or background in HIV/AIDS and public health
- Must reside near the identified health facility
- Self-motivated and willing to attend training sessions
- Computer literacy, including MS Office (Excel, Word)
- English and isiXhosa proficiency will be an advantage
- Clear criminal record
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Capture and consolidate weekly, monthly, and quarterly data
- Maintain a data submission register
- Update internal databases as required
- Notify team of any late or missing submissions
- File and perform other administrative tasks
- Communicate with THC staff and Department of Health as needed
- Ensure structured and accurate data formatting
