Hessequa Municipality, known before 24 June 2005 as Langeberg Municipality, is a local municipality within the Garden Route District Municipality, in the Western Cape province of South Africa
Hessequa Local Municipality invites graduates to apply for ICT Learnerships at Riversdale Thusong Centre, Hessequa Municipality, Western Cape.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be aged between 18 and 35 years
- Reside in the Hessequa area (submit proof of residence via municipal account)
- Have passed Grade 12 (submit certified copy of matric certificate)
- Be competent in using a personal computer (may be tested practically)
- Have access to transport to the training venue
- Not have completed any MICT SETA-funded learnership or similar training in the past 2 years
Documents to Submit
- Completed Hessequa Municipality application form (available at municipal offices or website)
- Comprehensive CV
- Certified copy of ID (not older than 3 months)
- Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate
- Proof of residence (municipal account)
- Confirmation of access to own transport
Programme Benefits Upon Completion
Upon successful completion, learners will become entry-level Technical Support professionals, with foundational knowledge and interpersonal skills in IT. Specialisation may include:
- Hardware and Infrastructure Support for PCs and office systems
- Data Communications and Networking
- Emerging or future-focused ICT specialisations
