Gauteng Department of Economic Development is offering an exciting internship opportunity for Shared Auxiliary Services Internships 2025.

Internship Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must have:

  • A National Diploma (NQF 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in:
    • Environmental Health
    • Safety Management
  • Be unemployed and a Gauteng resident
  • Be passionate about gaining workplace experience in the public service

Duties

This internship provides the opportunity to:

  • Gain hands-on experience within the Shared Auxiliary Services Directorate
  • Understand real-world applications of safety and environmental health policies
  • Contribute meaningfully to departmental support and compliance

Required documents:

  • Completed Z83 form (available at any Public Service Department)
  • Comprehensive CV
  • Certified copies of:
    • Identity Document
    • Qualifications (including Matric)
    • Academic transcript or record

Note: Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by SAQA. No late applications will be accepted.
