Highland Estates Limited is a prominent Tanzanian company established in the 1930s that operates across the agriculture, transportation, real estate, and trading sectors. Headquartered in Dar es Salaam, the family-owned business began with subsistence rice farming and has grown into a major logistics and commercial entity.

Responsibilities 

• Maintaining boundary markers for different farms.
• Conducting regular patrols or inspections of farm perimeters by regular site visits or Using surveillance systems (CCTV, drones, or guard posts) where appropriate.
• Coordinating with local authorities or security services to prevent trespassing, theft, or encroachment.
• Preparing reports for government agencies or cooperatives when needed and correspondences like letters, memos, emails etc.
• Handling disputes over boundaries or encroachments.
• Ensuring boundaries are legally surveyed and marked.
• Filing complaints or legal actions against trespassers or encroachers to relevant authorities.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities on compliance matters at the farm.
• Liaise with government officers on regular inspections.
• Supervise warehouse constructions and repairs if any.
• Provide regular reports of all farm activities to the directors and advise management on technical issues when necessary.
• Follow up on Farm title deeds with relevant authorities.

Skills & Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
• 1 or 2 years of experience of working in a busy industry.
• Strong interest of working in agriculture activities.
• Must be able to drive a motorbike.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
