The Electoral Commission, a Chapter 9 institution tasked with strengthening democracy, is offering a 24-month internship for unemployed graduates with a qualification in Logistics. This is a rare opportunity to gain work experience in a vital constitutional body while contributing to South Africa’s electoral processes. People with disabilities are encouraged to apply. Position: Warehousing & Logistics Intern
Key Training Areas:
- Receiving and dispatching election materials
- Drafting specifications
- Engaging with suppliers and service providers
- Warehousing, inventory and material management
- By-elections and corporate elections operations
- Party Liaison Committee activities
- Delimitation and other Electoral Matters projects
General Administrative Support:
- Minute taking and report writing
- Preparing presentations and handling enquiries
- Filing, records management, and document distribution
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 / N3 / NTC Level 4
- Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Logistics from a recognised institution
- A postgraduate qualification in Logistics or Project Management is an added advantage
