Airports Company South Africa was formed in 1993 as a public company and, although majority owned by the South African Government, is legally and financially autonomous and operates under commercial law.

Airports Company SA (ACSA): Fire and Rescue Operations (NQF 5) and General Security Practices (NQF 3) Learnerships 2025.

ACSA’s Learnership Programme is a gateway to careers in the aviation and transport sector. It offers practical and theoretical training over a period of up to 18 months, helping you gain critical skills for employment.

Successful learners will receive:

  • A nationally recognised qualification (NQF 5 or NQF 3)
  • A monthly stipend
  • Hands-on experience with 70% practical work and 30% classroom training

Available Learnerships

  1. Further Education & Training Certificate: Fire and Rescue Operations (NQF 5)
  2. National Certificate: General Security Practices (NQF 3)

Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens
  • Be unemployed
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 34
  • Have a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
  • Be medically and physically fit (Fire & Rescue Learnership)
  • Have no criminal record
