In 1992 the company employed less than 5 people who led our first hospital Clinix Botshelong-Empilweni Private Hospital to open its doors to the Vosloorus community in 1994. With over 20 years of providing quality healthcare in the communities we operate in, Clinix Health Group owns and manages seven hospitals and has approximately 2600 individuals that are working in our hospitals on a daily basis.

Job Summary:

  • To promote and deliver quality patient care and wellness following industry standards and to execute Nursing duties within the standards, procedures and protocols set down by the South African Nursing Council and the Scope of Practice.
  • The incumbent will collaborate with Doctors, multidisciplinary team members, and the community to provide holistic support to patients and their families and loved ones, while supervising allocated team members within a specialised unit.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Nursing degree/diploma.
  • Current registration with the South African Nursing Council.
  • BLS qualification and updated ACLS/PALS/ATLS.
  • Previous experience in a private hospital environment is advantageous.
  • Diploma in Critical Nursing Care.
  • Computer Proficiency.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Perform all duties following the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH) and National Core Standards.
  • Adhere to the principles and standards of Patient Advocacy according to SANC Acts and Omissions, Company Code of Conduct, Patient rights, and Responsibility Charter, National Millennium Development Goals and responsibility of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
  • Promote effective and high-quality patient care through the application of relevant policies and procedures, as well as the efficient management of day-to-day Unit activities.
  • Ward administration ensures compliance with protocols, security, a safe patient environment, and the Group’s patient care standards, as well as policies and procedures.
  • Effective management of cost centre and operational unit activities and processes, including control of equipment, tools, stock, to required levels and according to prescribed guidelines.
